2021.10.25 04:08 Berabouman Can't seem to get controller working for Cadence of Hyrule
I'm sure it's something very simple I overlooked, but I Googled and checked the FAQ and I can't seem to get working. My controller works fine for other games. (Metroid Dread, Animal Crossing)
Should be just plug and play, I read the FAQ and configured the settings according (Settings input etc, my controller shows up as Xbox) I tried messing around and then I get an error message along the lines of "Controller Applet" - application requires controlleJoycon/etc.
Yeah so it's kind of mystery so I posted here. :) Thanks to everyone and have a great day!

2021.10.25 04:08 KEY2SO 16M. I'm lost in this world. I'm lost in my own thoughts.
I wish I could go back to when I was young. Nothing on my mind, just wanting to have a good time. When I was young (well, younger than now) I was the one giving the advice. Everybody thought that I was the "smart" one. Which I have to admit felt nice. It brainwashed me into thinking that I was doing okay and that everything would be fine.
But ever since I moved countries, I haven't been the same. It's quite ironic that the one who gave advice now seeks for some. My parents have been quite harsh on me since moving. pressuring me to get better grades, and more. They want me to do so much, which I don't blame them, I would too if I had a kid. However, it's as if they don't know the limits to what I can handle. I try to understand their perspective on this, which I can, but I can't handle it. I'm just so unmotivated.
Currently, I have to study for the SATs, which I haven't been improving on for the past 1-2 months. I need to decide what I want to major in university, for school. It's mandatory in Korean public high schools. Of course, I think about my appearance, height, you know what. I am a teenager after all. I want to be active, move around, be free. But I'm just so stressed out from all of these expectations.
My parents think that 8 hours of studying isn't enough. They rarely see me study because they're either out working or doing what they want to do. If I try to set time for myself they just see it as me not trying to study and learn. Honestly, they took the fun out of learning. School didn't do that for me, contrary to what many of my friends say.
I don't know what I want to do with my life. Whenever I think of my future, it's blank. I'm not good at anything that I want to do. What I hate doing, I'm good at. What I love doing, I'm terrible at, or genetically, I'm not meant to thrive in that area (Sports for example). What I want, doesn't align with what my parents want from me. We never see eye to eye. Whenever I make a decision, it gets shot down by them. They always make it as if it was my decision to turn my own decision down, which I certainly did not want to do. They wanted to. And they get what they want. If I make a decision for myself, and they disagree, yet I still persist, they don't even look at me. They look at me as if I'm some kind of mistake.
It's been like this for 16 years. Nothing goes the way I want. If there is a god, I wonder what he expects from me. What he's planned for me. Because I don't see myself, a fearful, unlucky, insecure teenager getting any better from this. People think I'm privileged and spoiled for having a financially stable family. Getting to travel places, and everything. But they really don't know what's going on. I've been hiding this for sixteen hurtful years. They say your heart's like glass. It can easily break. But I guess mine broke when I was young and so did my mind. I can match the pieces together and glue them back. Not when I'm lost in my own thoughts, family, life. Everybody says just hang on, but I don't know what that means.
I don't know what kind of help I need, but I know that I need it. Desperately.

2021.10.25 04:08 Neeam47 Anal tips and tricks
For those of you who don't know anal. It's the means of penetration of penis to asshole. Some of you were asking for anal suggestions so here it is.
Before going to the actual tips please note that asshole sensation is not common to all women/men. Some might have good sensitivity and some might have disturbance. So always check your partners concerns about asshole sensitivity. Tip one: while making out or having sex, take a risk and put one lubricated finger in his/her asshole to check the reaction. If the intimacy slows down. It means the partner isn't comfortable. And the opposite i won't have to explain.
On my 8 physical with women relations i had 3 anal experiences and i had an anal penetration with a bisexual man once. I didn't include this on my last post because it was all about safe painless first tine sex. And in my current relationship of 2 years i am having regular weekly anal with my woman and yes she enjoys that. So please pray for us. Hopefully we'll take it to end of time. Now Tip 2: interested anal people always try to make your asshole bigger. After pooping try to finger the hole, 1 finger for a week. Then 2, then 3. 3 week practice is enough. Tip 3: before anal with actual penis try it with small dildo (cucumber if sextoy unavailable) Tip 4: cleaning the hole before anal: asshole is full of poop. Even after pooping there might be some stuck in the wall. So always cleanse it because poop can cause skin injuries to the penis even with condom on. Further info please inbox me. Tip 5: cleaning is easy, put some water down/up the hole, 50ml will do. Keep it in for a fer moment. Then poop it out. Insert the water with pipe/straw. Poop normally. Repeat it 3/4 times. Tip 6: after all this any type of medical lubricant or spit is okay. Always wear condom. Have safe anal and always take consent of your partner. Enjoy

2021.10.25 04:08 Purplycow I don't know what to do
So there's this girl I sit next to in class. We talk all the time and we're good friends. Flashback to a few days ago, I finally got the courage to ask her out. We were supposed to do something today. Everything was good until last night when she suddenly canceled plans. I asked what was up and she hasn't really communicated. I was really looking forward to it and I'm super confused now. All I know is that she said she was busy and hasn't elaborated. Of course, this normally wouldn't be a problem but it was so out of the blue and since then it feels like she's actively ignoring me. Should I wait until I see her at school or attempt to ask her again trying to see if something's wrong?

2021.10.25 04:08 cthuluhooprises I can’t sleep, so here’s my honest opinion on every driver on the grid, + some extras
I’d like to hear your own opinions as well, and your responses to mine, so feel free to leave comments.
Lewis Hamilton: By statistics, he’s the GOAT. While I admire his ability to stay on top, I’m not a fan of his holier-than-thou attitude that he typically has. He’s certainly done some good things off the grid in terms of activism, but to me at least it doesn’t come off as entirely sincere. I don’t hate him, and I respect his abilities as a driver, but he will never be my favorite.
Valtteri Bottas: Bottas deserves more. He’s a talented driver, and he shouldn’t be playing second fiddle to Hamilton. I’m personally against team orders and so every time I hear “Valtteri, it’s James,” my heart sinks. I don’t even like Mercedes, but I feel bad for him. Off the grid, he’s hilarious in the way that only a Finn can be, which really endears him to me. Perhaps it’s just the being demoted aspect, but his moving to Alfa next year seems reminiscent of Vettel being sent to AM by Ferrari. Hopefully he’ll be able to still win races next year.
Max Verstappen: Max will be WDC. If not this year, then soon. He’s fiery and determined and that drive I can respect (pun fully intended). I’m rooting for him this year, both because I’m ready for a non-Mercedes winner and because he is a great driver who deserves a title to show for it. I admire his personality in that he knows he’s good, but he’s never overly arrogant about it. I do believe the title would be his if not for the crashes earlier this year and his unluckiness, but I’m very excited that the fight is so competitive with only a few races to go.
Checo Perez: Man’s got determination. He got to third place in 100 degree heat without a drink system, probably nearly passing out, and managed to stay in front of Leclerc and finish less than 43 seconds behind his teammate. He’s been hit with some bad luck this season, but he’s ability to keep the cursed second Red Bull seat for a second year is a testament to the hard work he’s put in. I think people discount him from talk of winning a WDC a little too quickly.
Daniel Ricciardo: The Aussie‘s got an impeccable personality. He’s super charismatic and I admire his determination. His speech after winning in Italy— “I never left”— is super inspirational and even though he’s not my favorite makes me love him. That said, and I feel so bad for saying this, I don’t think he’s going to be able to win a WDC. He’s too old to have much time left after Hamilton retires, and he doesn’t quite have the speed to compete now or with the younger generation of VER LEC NOR. I’d like to be proven wrong here, though.
Lando Norris: It takes serious talent to be in 4th place in the WDC without a single win. While his immaturity does show at some points, like his outburst during the end of Sochi that cost him the race, he’s improving every time he goes out on the track. He’s also quite funny, and his charming personality makes him hard to dislike. While I don’t think it will happen for a few years, I expect he’ll be WDC soon enough.
Charles Leclerc: There’s no denying he’s fast. He’s one of my favorite drivers, consistently getting P4s despite his Ferrari. He’s both humble and confident and is always prepared to win. He also seems super genuine and gets along well with much of the grid, which I totally respect. By the way, when comparing him to Sainz, I think they’re both very talented, but Charles is a bit better. He’s faster, but he takes more risks which sometimes end in a DNF allowing their points to get very close. That’s not to slag Carlos because not crashing is also very important, but recklessness you can grow out of, and Charles is young still. Remember, Max also used to crash all the time. I fully believe Charles will be WDC someday.
Carlos Sainz: Sainz is also great. WDC material? Maybe. I think he could win in a year when some other teams have mechanical and reliability issues, but that’s almost likely. He breathes life into whatever team he’s in, livening up Renault and McLaren and now Ferrari. He always gets on great with his teammate and that’s not something you can say about everyone. I’m excited to see his future.
Sebastian Vettel: There’s no denying the talent of someone who is the youngest person to ever win a WDC title, and to win four in a row is pure class. And he keeps that class off the grid, being an all around great guy. His clear intelligence and eloquence shine through and it’s hard to find an F1 fan who genuinely doesn’t like Seb as a person. I wish Ferrari hadn’t let him go and relegated him to a team where he can’t compete for the title anymore, and I hardly think I’m alone in that. I’d give my left kidney for Seb to win another WDC. But for what will realistically happen, I hope AM make a car that can at least let him win another race. He deserves it.
Lance Stroll: I’m going to say it: Stroll deserves his seat. Sure, his dad bought him it and he has immortal job security, but he’s holding his own. He’s next to four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel in the standings, and that didn’t happen by accident. Especially not with an Aston Martin. He’s got as many podiums as Gasly, and nobody argues against Pierre’s talent. He keeps improving, and maybe someone else should have gotten his seat at the beginning of his career, but now he’s earned his spot. Fight me.
Esteban Ocon: I’ll admit that before Hungary, he was just a blip on my radar. But now he’s a race winner. So many never get that honor, and I’m glad he was able to pull it off. He defended against Vettel of all people to keep it, so despite the chaos it was hardly guaranteed. He also seems to be close with Lance and Mick, both of whom I like, so I can assume he’s pretty nice as well.
Fernando Alonso: Legend. Total legend. Endlessly quotable— “At all times you have to leave a space!”— his age isn’t slowing him down. The promising young rookie has a few more years in him left. I’m actually quite torn here. Alonso is great and all, and I’ll be sad to see him retire, but it’s doubtful Piastri will be able to get into F1 before he retires. Don’t get me wrong, Alonso is a class act and any multiple WDC is worthy of being in F1. He’s still a great defender, and considering Alpine’s actually decent car, I’m pretty excited to see what gonna happen.
Yuki Tsunoda: We’ve got a lot in common. We both are short, swear a lot, and want to sleep with Pierre Gasly. That said, I wouldn’t be able to score points in an F1 car. I think people are too hard on him. Yes, Gasly has scored 3x as many points as him. But Yuki is a rookie and Pierre has been racing for years. And in my opinion, Gasly is outperforming the car by more than Yuki is underperforming in it. I’m glad AlphaTauri agree with me enough to sign him for another year.
Pierre Gasly: Like I said, I think Pierre is outperforming the car. It’s one thing to score points in a junior team car. It’s another to win a race in one. Sure, Monza 2020 was hectic, but he deserved that win by the end. He also seems very nice, and gets along with a lot of the grid, so I have no problems with that side of things. I’m going to take the slightly controversial stance that he doesn’t deserve the second Red Bull seat— yet. At least, not while Checo is still in top form. That said, he does deserve to be in a good car, and I hope AT can deliver on that next year.
Kimi Raikkonen: You all know Kimi’s personality. He’s a legend and I’m quite sad to see him retire after this year. He may be a world champion, but I’d like to see him come back and win again. It’s not going to happen, but oh man would it be great. He also has six times the points of his teammate, which is the largest ratio on the grid, so that’s saying something.
Antonio Giovinazzi: Okay, but does he really deserve the F1 seat? At the time I’m writing this, his seat is still up in the air. He has one point. When I think about what someone like Pourchaire or Piastri could do in the same car, I find it hard to find an argument to keep him beyond constructor loyalty. On his personality, I’ll admit I don’t know enough to really comment, but he’s apparently pretty nice, so there’s that.
George Russell: Have I said WDC too much in this post? Too bad. George will be one someday. Possibly as soon as next year. It takes serious talent to just hop into a car you’re not used to and lead for most of a race. It takes just as much talent to take a Williams and get it into Q3 regularly enough to get a moniker about it. When— yes when— he wins, it will have been a long time coming. He’s one of the best on the grid at understanding exactly how much water his tires and driving can take, and has demonstrated this on multiple occasions by pitting and just the right time for or out of inters. I also love his personality and think his shirtless pics are endearing, but perhaps my flair betrays me here. I wish him the best of luck at Mercedes.
Nicholas Latifi: By all accounts he’s a nice guy. Williams also said they don’t need pay drivers anymore, and he’s still there for 2022, so I guess in the eyes of his team he’s proven himself worthy. I also think he’ll be a great teammate for Albon next year. I don’t really have much to say about him, but I can hardly do 19 drivers + extras, so…. Anyway it would be nice to see Williams do well again, so I wonder if he can pull that off.
Mick Schumacher: He picked a good mentor in Seb. He’s got a lot of potential, dragging a Haas into Q2, and once (yes once— he’s getting a better seat) he gets into a team with a car that is capable of competition, I have little doubt he’ll excel. He’s so nice on the radio, bleeping out his own swears and all, and I find myself liking him more and more the more I see of him. It’s a little soon to tell, but I think he’ll get a WDC in time.
Nikita Mazepin: I refuse to give him more than a few sentences. This talentless, homophobic, racist pay driver doesn’t need to be in F1 when there are so many more drivers more deserving of his seat. I do occasionally feel bad that he has no friends on grid or real fans, and wonder if I’ve been too harsh on him, but then I remember how he threw a party during the memorial service of his dad’s company’s fatal mine crash.
Nico Rosberg: I admire how he quit while ahead. Devastating that it took everything, including a decades long friendship, but he deserved his win against Hamilton. He turned down a lot of money when he left, and that, along with his reserved and intelligent demeanor, makes him one of my favorite drivers. I wasn’t into F1 when he was racing, so I never got to see him live, but that doesn’t stop me from being a fan.
Robert Kubica: In my opinion, he’d be one of the best on the grid if he hadn’t had his accident. In only two races this season he’s ahead of Mazespin, and being the only F1 representative of his country is no small feat. I hope a team gives him another chance at a real seat, not just test driver. He deserves better.
Alex Albon: I’m glad he’s coming back in 2022. The Red Bull car he couldn’t control was no joke, and with how volatile that seat was I’m pleased he’s getting his second chance. Williams will be a good fit for him, taking the seat of his friend George alongside Latifi, with whom I think he is already friendly with. He’s been practicing and is eager to prove himself, and I’m optimistic. Will he be able to work the same magic with the Williams as George? Only time will tell.
